A series of tunnels and caverns once used by the City's original founders and settlers, the Old Mine Tunnels dug into the Old Quarter Cliffs are now long-abandoned.
Events of Thief[]
During Chapter 8, Garrett passes through the mines after escaping from the Hidden City. On the trail of Orion and Erin, the thief spies the Graven's "vessel," the Dawn's Light, just outside. Though many supplies and equipment remain from the old days, most of it is long-rusted and inoperable, rendering the mines nearly pitch-black. In addition, freaks haunt the already-cramped tunnels, likely former Graven who remained behind to guard the way, only to finally succumb to the final stage of Primal poisoning.
