Introduction[]
This is the second Client Job from Ector and can be accessed by visiting Oxheart Perry's which can be accessed from the walkways above Baron's Way South in Riverside. You will need the Razor to get another Montonessi Collectible and to complete as many of the Challenges as possible, at least 3 Broadhead Arrows but I would recommend 4 (sorry in advance doggy, but you are just too annoying otherwise!), and 1 Blunt Arrow.
Challenges and Rewards[]
As with all the Client Jobs and different to the Chapters, ALL rewards for ALL playstyles can be collected on a single run through. There are no conflicting requirements for this Job so you can achieve them all - as above you will need 3 or 4 Broadhead Arrows and 1 Blunt Arrow.
1. Job completion | Reward: 160G |
2. Ghost: Remain undetected | Reward: 350G |
3. Opportunist: 1 Environmental exploit | Reward: 100G |
4. Predator: Headshot 3 threats | Reward: 85G |
5. Lift all loot items | Reward: 215G |
You will get the reward for each one completed at the end of the Job. None of these challenges are mutually exclusive so we will try and get them all.
Walkthrough[]
Abandoned House[]
You will start inside this Abandoned House and be listening to Oxheart Perry gentling encouraging his Guard(s) to vigilance. Your Objective will update.
- Objective: Steal the Automaton's Voice Box
Despite this house being abandoned there are 2 Loot items to obtain, on a nearby table and in the cabinet. Hop out the window and have a look around. There is a lone Guard patrolling around and, if you look down and to the right you will see a dog in a cage, while ahead of you is a large crate hanging above a hole in the courtyard below. I think we just found our Environmental Exploit! Before dealing with that though, select a Broadhead Arrow and wait for the patrolling Guard to pause either at the fence facing north or at the fence facing east. These are the two easiest locations to Headshot him. We wouldn't normally do this if we were Ghosting, I agree, but life is too short and completing all the Challenges in one go is more exciting than yet more sneaking about. There is no overall Ghost percentage for these Client Jobs anyway - just the Challenges and we are going to complete the ghost Challenge as well. Don't miss (actually quite easy to do as he sways about a bit while standing still) or save your game before attempting the shot.
Butcher's Dock[]
Once he is down, drop down behind the crates below and peer out at the dog. Again, I wouldn't normally do this, but having played this mission umpteen times it is just so annoying and can easily scupper your Ghost Challenge. Also, we are Headshoting threats anyway and initially I thought the dog would count towards that tally, but sadly not. Anyway, you can make the call, dog lover or not, whether to leave doggy alive and annoying or dead and out of the picture. Interestingly though, if you do as I suggest and headshot the dog, it will count on your stats for the job as a Threat killed but will not count towards your Headshot Challenge. Go figure! Once they are both out of the way obtain the Document (Red Blade's Orders) and the Loot item off the top of a crate on the south side of the hole.
Warning: Save your game!
Retreat to a corner and drop the crate with a Blunt Arrow to COMPLETE the Opportunist Challenge of 1 Environmental Exploit. I couldn't say how many times I have played this mission but ONLY ONCE has this happened to me. Normally, there is no reaction at all to dropping the crate but this one time a Guard inside became excited. He went strait to Alarmed (Yellow Eye) and rushed down to investigate. Initially I thought, great! I can take advantage of this and popped him in the head with another Broadhead Arrow. Checked my stats and sure enough 2/3 Headshots registered for the Predator Challenge. There was one Guard left patrolling upstairs. Try as I might, save and reload, etc. the next headshot simply refused to register and the Challenge could not be completed. So, save your game before you drop the crate. If there is no reaction - all good carry on. If there is a reaction - reload and try again, perhaps alter your timing a bit or shoot from a different spot.

Oxheart Perry's Basement[]
Down here there are 3 more Loot items to collect, on a shelf, in the cabinet, and on a barrel. There is a locked chest over in the corner but you will notice it is trapped and the Control Box is somewhere upstairs. Tap Focus to confirm is needed. There is also a Poppy on the ground next to the fallen crate. When you are done, head up the stairs slowly and when you turn to the right you will see a Guard standing next to the top of the stairs on your left and another Guard patrolling in and out of the room through an open door ahead of you to the west. Target the stationary Guard with a Broadhead Arrow and headshot him when the other leaves the room. Quickly head up, grab the body and bring it down into the basement before the other returns. Watch where this second Guard stops, his head is just below and to the right of the light, orient your aiming circle and as he walks into the room start your draw. He doesn't stand still for long so it is important that you are targeting the right place and as he stops you can release the arrow at his head. There is no rush so you can let him run through a few patrol cycles until you are aiming correctly, save your game and have at it. Tidy is as tidy does, bring his body down into the basement as well and put him with his mate.

Oxheart Perry's Shop[]
This is a collection of four rooms. In the foyer entrance hall there are 4 Loot items to collect in the cabinet and the small drawer unit beside the open door to the west, and two vents to unlock with your Wrench. The room through the open door to the west contains shelves and is a sort of storage room with a vent opening connecting back to the Foyer. Unlock or open the vent with your Wrench in case you need to use it in a hurry and collect the 4 Loot items off the shelves together with a Food packet. Through this room to the south is an office area with two desks. There are another 4 Loot items to obtain from the desks together with a Document (Oxheart Perry's Shop Register) and another Loot item is behind the door in a small drawer unit. There is a locked door in the west wall of this room and the Objective Marker is beckoning us in...but let's hold off for a moment, there is more to explore and we have not found the Control Box for that chest in the basement yet. There is another open door in the south wall leading into what looks like a front reception area for clients judging by the metal grille between it and the desks in this part of the room. Through that door though there is a Collectible (The Grace of Insecurity) on the wall and another vent in the wall opposite it which you should unlock or open with your Wrench, again, just in case.

Oxheart Perry's Residence[]
Head upstairs and watch your feet as there is broken glass on the stairs and more in the bedroom. There is a Loot item on the landing on a small table next to a sofa. As you approach the door Oxheart Perry will start talking but it is okay as he is talking in his sleep. Open the bedroom door and let yourself in. Oxheart Perry is a sleep in a chair in the north east corner of the room. The Control Box we've been looking for is on the east wall and the trap on the chest in the basement can be disabled by using your Wirecutters on it. There is a Loot item in the cabinet and a Collectible (The Observant Lady) in the drawer of the same. Another Loot item is on the mantle of the fireplace while the Bedside table holds a final Loot item and a Document (Oxheart Perry's Notebook) is in the drawer of the same. Once you are done, let yourself back out and close the door behind you.

Oxheart Perry's Vault[]
Return to the basement and empty the chest of the 2 Loot items it contains and then address the Vault door with the Objective Marker. As soon as you open this door Oxheart Perry will come to investigate. I am not sure you can claim everything and get out before he arrives so to avoid a confrontation pick the lock, open the door, get in and close it behind you again. There are 4 Loot items on the shelves left and right so grab these before you open the safe. The safe contains just the one item, the Client Collectible (Voice Box). Once you have it Garrett will comment that Perry should have sold it while he had the chance and your Objective will change:
- Objective: Escape the Pawnshop
Loot items 29/29, Stolen Value 208G, Collectibles 3/3, and in the Documents section, Ector Client Jobs 11/22, Stonemarket 20/33, South Quarter 9/15, Newspapers 15/19
Peer through the keyhole, wait for Perry to turn show up as he will now be patrolling between this room and the other part of the shop with the stairs to the basement. When he turns to go exit the room and close the door behind you. Take one of the vents, the one in that front room near the desks is probably the safest, and head through to the other room. When you see Perry depart this room headed back to the vault, exit and head down into the basement. Mantle up on the crate you dropped earlier and again to get out of the hole. Exit through the door to the Abandoned House, check your stats to make sure you have everything and exit upstairs back to The City.
